Good article, Pete. You hit the right notes about the art of photography — learning to take photos that are worth looking at.

I look at a lot of photos and often see how people mistakenly believe that a photo that was taken with an expensive lens that gets great bokeh, pin point focus, with a camera body that has ten million Megapixels, is a great photo because of the clarity and cleverness of the machine.

The content of a photo is what gives it legs, then we’ll see whether it can keep our attention long enough to make us feel the magic.
