From Empty Ambition to Meaningful Drive: The Power of Real Values
There’s a strange kind of exhaustion that creeps in when you’re chasing goals that don’t really belong to you.
Initially, all goals feel inspiring, motivating, and full of promise. They feel like you’ve just hit on the exact right idea. But then a quiet voice starts whispering: “Why does this feel so empty?”
Sometimes, we blame choppy thoughts and false starts on self-sabotage.
But in reality, those choppy thoughts of indecisiveness are strong signals that we aren’t really making personal choices. We are choosing ideas and goals that are crowd pleasers.
We’ve taken the easy route to goal setting and it led us to nowhere.

In the end, these goals turn out be energy sappers.
The problem here isn’t lack of motivation, or inability to produce something meaningful, it’s incongruity.
They are not your goals. They don’t serve your own unique needs.
